University of Cincinnati adds StatMonitr in 2013-14
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- The University of Cincinnati will use the StatMonitr media stats system on its campus for athletic events throughout 2013-14, StatBroadcast announced today.
The University of Cincinnati is a public university located in Ohio and has an enrollment of more than 40,000, making it the second-largest university in the state. The Cincinnati Bearcats compete in 19 varsity sports at the NCAA Division I level as members of the American Athletic Conference (formerly known as the Big East). Cincinnati's football team is one of the oldest in the country, beginning play in 1885. They have won 12 conference championships, including back-to-back Big East Championships in 2011 and 2012, and have participated in 14 bowl games, including two BCS games with an appearance in the 2009 Orange Bowl and the 2010 Sugar Bowl. The Bearcats men's basketball team has made 27 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, won 26 regular season conference championships and appeared in five Final Fours, cutting down the nets in both 1961 and 1962 and finishing runner-up in 1963.
