StatBroadcast and CAA create conference-wide live stats partnership for 2014-15

RICHMOND, VA. -- StatBroadcast and the Colonial Athletic Association have entered into a partnership beginning this August for the 2014-15 academic year for a conference-wide statistics technology initiative. Under the terms of the partnership, StatBroadcast will provide live stats, media stats and mobile stats for athletic events for all ten conference members, all CAA Football games and all conference championship events. The agreement will also include a media portal for accessing real-time feeds from all events as well as a real-time updating scoreboard for CAASports.com.

The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) is a Division I FCS athletic conference consisting of ten full members and seven associate members for football. CAA members College of Charleston, Hofstra, UNCW, Towson, Drexel, James Madison and Northeastern currently partner with StatBroadcast for their stats technologies; Delaware, William and Mary and Elon will begin using StatBroadcast at their events this fall. This past spring, the CAA utilized StatBroadcast for the first time at its Men's and Women's Basketball Conference Championships.

The agreement with the CAA is the first of its kind for StatBroadcast and will mark the first time that an entire conference's membership will utilize the StatBroadcast Live platform for all of its events.

“The prospect of the synergy created within the conference from having every school on our platform is exciting, and hopefully can serve as a paradigm for other conferences to follow,” said StatBroadcast president Nate Policar. “It gives us the opportunity to create new statistics technologies that are targeted at a macro level for the entire conference while at the same time tie in the technology available for the individual schools into the conference as a whole.”

Fans of the CAA and its member schools will be able to follow the live stats and mobile stats this fall from each individual school's official athletics site as well as from the CAASports.com official website; StatBroadcast will also be launching CAAStats.com this fall, which will serve as the official live stats site and mobile stats web app for live stats from CAA athletic teams.
