University of Minnesota selects StatMonitr for 2014-15

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. -- The University of Minnesota and StatBroadcast announced today that the school will use the StatMonitr media stats system at the remainder of its athletic events during the 2014-15 academic year to deliver a real-time stats feed to media and staff covering its events.

The University of Minnesota is a public university located in Minneapolis with a current enrollment of 30,375. Founded in 1851, it is the flagship university of the University of Minnesota system and has the sixth-largest main campus student body in the US. The Minnesota Golden Gophers are members of the Big Ten Conference of NCAA Division-I FBS and compete in 23 varsity sports. The Gophers have won seven national championships in football, seven in men's ice hockey, five in women's ice hockey and three in both men's basketball and baseball.

Minnesota is the seventh member of the Big Ten Conference to partner with StatBroadcast and the second from the state.
