Sam Houston State University selects StatBroadcast for live stats in 2015-16

HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS -- Sam Houston State University has selected StatBroadcast as its live stats provider for the 2015-16 school year beginning in August. StatBroadcast will provide its media stats platform for media and staff to access a real-time stats feed as well as simulcast the school's athletic events to both the web and mobile devices.

Sam Houston State University is a public university located in Hunstville, Texas, approximately one hour norht of Houston. A member of the Texas State University System, SHSU was the first institution built specifically for teachers in the state of Texas and is the third oldest public institution of higher learning in the state. The Sam Houston State Bearkats participate at the NCAA Division-I FCS level in 17 varsity sports as members of the Southland Conference. The Bearkats football team is one of the most successful FCS programs in the nation over the last five years; the team captured three conference titles (2011, 2012 and 2014), became one of only three programs to make the FCS tournament in three consecutive years and played in the FCS Championship game back-to-back in 2011 and 2012.
